John Connolly, LLB was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 1990.
He joined HBM Lawyers in 1998 with a wealth of experience in commercial, building and criminal litigation.
Since joining the partnership in 2004, John has advised a variety of clients on commercial insurance, public and product liability, marine insurance, industrial special risks and professional indemnity claims.
His previous experience in criminal law assists when advising clients on motor and property damage claims, where he advises on fraud and indemnity and conducting recovery and defence claim.
John provides policy writing advice to clients, drawing on skills in policy interpretation and contract.
He has been involved in many committees responsible for ongoing professional education in the insurance industry and provides training to insurer clients.
